Some of the best students in the world have one thing in common: this is not a high IQ, nor is it an incredible series of lucky, but their appreciation for reading. Books were their most profitable investment.

$ 2 to $ 20 billion

 Two teenagers found jobs in a grocery store in Omaha, Nebraska. The older boy, from a poor family devastated by the Great Depression, raised and sold hamsters for spare changes. The youngest boy, the grandson of the store owner, had delayed his studies and carried out strange jobs, such as selling door-to-door chewing gums and coke bottles.

 At the time, each boy earned about $ 2 a day. A few decades later, they would make a profit of $ 20 billion a year with their conglomerate, Berkshire Hathaway. Who were these boys? None other than Charlie Munger and Warren Buffett. How have they become the most successful investors America has ever seen?

Charlie Munger, 84, reveals to a crowd of future law students the secrets of their success:

 "I constantly see people who are not the smartest, sometimes not even the most diligent, but they learn machines. They go to bed every night a little wiser than they were when they got up and the boy does that help, especially when you have a long run in front of you.

Apparently, in the early days of Buffett's investment career, he would read 600-1000 pages in a single day. Nowadays, he devotes 80% of his day to reading.

 "Read 500 pages ... every day, that's how knowledge works, it accumulates like compound interest, you can all do it,but I guarantee that many of you will not."

Delivering to everyone: no matter where you are in life, keep learning and you will succeed.
